The week in summary

Behold,
A summary of one aspect (or two) of my training this week...

A summary of my eating habits this week...

The sum of these parts equals a whole...

A great, big, sad black hole.

I hate these kinds of weeks.
How is it possible for me to have so much discipline in one area of my life while failing so dismally in another?

Maybe cause our lives need balance, and they default to whichever places we're lacking unconsciously? Just a guess.

Cookies are failures? Not in my book. I like cookies, personally and cookies like me. We stick together beautifully! Love you Sis! You're not alone in your struggle. :)

It's not just the cookie ice cream sandwich I had this week, but the cake, and the ice cream, and the cheeze-its, and the taquitos, and, and, and....I agree that cookies do not necessarily equal failure. It's when the exercise and the food BARELY balance each other out, not to mention the nutritional non-value of those foods while in such serious training...What am I thinking?!

With all that exercise, you need the calories to sustain yourself... I'd hate to hear of my sister collapsed on the side of the road because she didn't get enough cookie calories for the day!

Wow Julie, your week sounds like mine except without the exercise.

If it makes you feel any better I still think of you as the first picture...minus the fact that it's a man...cause I definitely don't think that you are a man...that could be a little weird...

I couldn't agree more; although, I find myself falling toward the cookie part a bit more now a days. I admire you.

I'm just impressed that you and your blog got called out on a pretty popular blog this past week (http://blackbird17.blogspot.com/2009/02/question-for-you-dear-readers.html). Way to go!
