In honor of 28 years...

I just pulled out my very first gray hair.

I've taped it to a post-it note.

I'm tempted to put it in my journal as a keepsake.

I now have a reason to keep dying my hair.

[sigh] It's been a long year.

"Sleep-a-fying"

I had a great time at home for Thanksgiving, but eventually all the germs caught up with me (I'm so glad we could all share). My 5-year-old niece Piper insisted that my brother (her dad) take a picture of me "sleep-a-fying" on "her" bed the afternoon I finally succumbed. I had no idea they were even in my room until I opened my email later that night with this picture in my inbox. Awesome.

I'm now trying to rejoin the land of the living. The blog postings will resume once the vertigo, congestion and cough subside.

[sigh] It's been a long year...
